01 TT clutch problems

Was driving few days ago, and wasn't really easy on the clutch... after doing a few hard shifts the clutch pedal got really hard, it's still hard after letting the car sit for a bit and driving again.
It's a 996 turbo, and it has lwfw (from all the chatter i hear) that was put it buy previous owner so i don't know what brand it is...
Has anyone had a similar problem like i had and if so what was the fix for you guys????
I am not very familiar with these cars so i don't wanna screw around with it just want ideas as to what the problem might be.

Thanks in advance.

sounds like your slave or clutch accumalator is failing.

Yup, sounds like the accumulator. Part is about 100 bucks and an hour or so to put in. No biggie.

Why are you guys so awesome.... Thank you... i hope that's it... i was scared it maybe the clutch.... Did you guys have the same problem too?

I have never driven a stock clutch turbo so i don't know what it feels like... but ever since we owned the pedal felt kind of weird on it. When you depress the pedal instead of going down very smooth it kind of felt like something was wrong maybe it was from the begining... Once it's replaced i will let you guys now what it feels with the new one.

Thanks again.

i have the same issue on my car now. It gets hard on startup and then feels normal when driving. My research tells me its the accumulator as well. This time i am def going to replace the accumulator and slave cylinder.

I am so relieved that it's not the clutch, and it just the acumulator... hopefully will have it fixed in the next few days.
Thanks again guys.
