Test Drove A Couple Of Tt's Last Night :d :d

WHAT A RUSH, I THINK IWILL DEFInitely be getting a TT soon, hopefully i can strike up a good trade in for my 996

i have a few questions..

i drove a tip last night an 01 tup .. it was showing that when i floored it that the boost was at 1.1 bar, thought that the stock boost was at .7 or .8 bar right? i guess thae car was modded w/ probably an ecu upgrade? , also the exhaust wa a bit loud too.. pse? or aftermarket? i think i even heard a faint fwoosh sound, does this mean it has an after market diverter valve? the car was pretty fast, it had an almost full gemballa cf interior the car looked wicked inside.. with deviating carpets, interior was graphite grey and the floor was black .. looked really good in my opinion...

yo sharky mister tippy man, does the car accelerate very quickly in manual mode? bec. it felt preety fast in my opinion... ?

i also drove a manuall TT last njight tooo, it wasnt as fast as the Gheytronic car i tested,... shifting was fun though,, one thing though when i power shifted into 2nd the clutch slipped? is that normal? but when teh other guy gave ita quick shift it latched preety good, no clutch slippage at all.. i used to have slippage on my 996 when i power shifted at times.. it went a way when i installed a B&M shifter... the manual felt a bit slower than the Tippy (well it was almost out of gas too lol, so i couldnt really haull A$$ in it)

hmmm..... what a dilemna... i need to get a ride on a chipped manual soon, to see if it is the same as the tip TT that i drove last night... bec. if the tippys are that fast i might go do the gheytronic route. and my wife loves the tippy ( so thats a lus to her) she absolutely loved how afst the car was (and for that i love her more lol)

How did the salesman react to your powershifting their car ?
Notice in your profile that your '02 has a new engine and a new tranny , LOL !
That's why I NEVER buy " preowned " cars .

Definitely not pre-trashed manual cars anyway

i would buy that car but it's over my budget so 1.1 is chipped :0

i saw that post on the ttx50, but i have to trade my 996 in too..

as for the motor.. i didnt do anything wrong or mis handled teh car,

i went on vacation on april left the car at the shop for reg. service , wheni came back 2 weeks later they told me i had a new engine in it already i couldnt pass it up.. as for teh tranny. eversince it was new the tranny, the gear would pop out of 2nd gear. the tech drove it for 100 or so miles, the gear poped on 2nd and voila new tranny from porsche lol anyone wanna buy my 996 new motor in it and tranny less than 10,000.00 mile son the motor and less than 2,000 mile son the tranny
