Coilovers feedback please!!

Have anyone tried the JIC Cross Competition Coilovers? All I hear about are the PSS 10 and the KW V3. I can't make up my mind right now, please give me feedbacks on these coilovers, thanks. Btw, I've heard negative comments on the H&R setup.

I've driven both back to back. I prefer the KWs, great settings off the bat, a smooth ride while still providing great handling. I've tried 2 different spring rates with the JICs and found them to be very good handling, however with a terrible ride on rough roads. I also had the drop link issues and a few other issues, all were fixed under warranty, still quite a hastle. If I had to do it all over again I would have gone KW in that car right off the bat.

JIC's seem to be better suited to track. What kind of driving are you planning on doing?

I'm on JIC. Like Wes said it's pretty bad on rough road (always sound like it's going to fall apart) but it's great on track

Was looking at all of the same coilovers you are. Need something for both as a DD and track. Going to go with the KW V3 after all the research and input from forum members. Going to do the whole suspension package probably all at once (sways, drop links, etc.) My$0.02

My vote goes to the KW V3's. They are truly the best of both worlds. They offer a compliant ride on public roads, but with independent compression and rebound adjustability, still give you the ability to fine tune the ride qualities for the track.

Check this thread for a lot of great information on this topic.

I've got them at some pretty great prices right now as well.

My car came fitted with JIC Cross when i bought it and to be honest i hated the way it drove, this week i have changed the springs 100lb lighter at the back and 50lb at the front and rest the ride height using the body adjusters so i still have full rod travel and it has totaly changed the way the car drives.

Cool

I have the JIC Cross on my car and am very happy.

JIC spring rates are pretty stiff. Most people are talked into going with the 8/12 or higher spring rates.

I went with the 7/10 set up and it is perfect.

I can dial the dampening down low and it is soft around town, or crank it up to make it track worthy stiff.

I am also a very big fan of KW coilovers, I have never had them on a Porsche, but I did run the v2's on my old e46 M3 and they are superb.

PSS10 and just H&R rear sways good enough for the street?

Anyone know if Bilstein upgraded their drop links on the PSS10s yet?
