Speedtech exhaust feedback...fair, good or great?

Can anyone who owns a Speedtech 60mm Crossflow exhaust give some feedback? Sound quality, build quality and CEL history?
Thanks!

Exhaust sounds great.
No CEL issues at this point

I bought a used one, probably earlier generation. Nice sound- aggressive yet not intrusive. Better spool than stock. Exhaust tips stuck out a little bit too much for my taste but over all very good value.

I've had my 60mm version on since April-May, with absolutely no cel's or other apparent problems. The tips do stick out a bit more than stock, but only marginally so, and I actually prefer the look to the stock tip placement. As far as sound, far better than stock. Build quality was perfect. Scott.

I am getting the 60mm as well. I have heard all good about this system and John says he is working on dual style tips which should be ready in 6 weeks, he said.

So how would you describe the sound on those 60mm's?

another very happy customer here, i have a 70mm, its loud enough but not too loud, probably one of the quieter ones on the market, nice increase in power, very nicely built, my tips are fine, they may stick out a little more than oem but it looks good, John is a great guy and a great guy to do business with

my wife loves the sound !!!

Well, it is definately louder. So much so that its basically now impossible to "get on it" in an inconspicuous manner (not like that was possible with a stock exhaust either!). It has a nice, deeper rumble at idle and lower rpms, but when you get on it is sounds like a wild beast. You should know that it is very much a "turbo" exhaust, in that you hear a lot of turbo noise (as oppossed to a n/a exhaust, where you her more traditional "exhaust" noises).

Interesting. I talked to John (nice guy) and he said the 70 has some drone and recommended the 60 for me, as I use it as a dd.
Also, are we all talking about the x-flow exhaust?

I had the system for 18 months. It worked very well. I had no issues with fit, finish or quality. The system threw no CELs. There are a lot of systems out there, and I tried one or two, before it. I also got to ride in Larry's (landjet's) Europipe Q2 system that wasn't "that much" quieter.

If drone is an issue, know this; Every system "burns" in and will get louder with time. Unfortunately the speedtech is no different. It's the best bang for the buck going, and won't let you down, but will get louder with time.

Mike

Yes, my Miltek which was great on my Cayman S did get louder too. Thanks for the feedback and would look forward to more from those with the 60 mm Crossflow.
