Anyone use the Phazer radar/Lazer jamer?
Active radar jammers are the only jammers that work. While they were often used in the 70's & early 80's, it is now a felony to use them.
Therefore, all radar "jammers" on the market are passive and completely useless.
There are ways to come across a functioning active jammer these days, but they are not easy to hide (the smallest one I've seen is about 3" x 6" x 8"). You also run the risk of screwing with airport radar if you get too close to an airport.

What about lazer jammers like the k40? Is that BS too? I understand that when this is combined with the V-1, the lazer detector portion of the V-1 has to be disabled so that the V-1 is not constantly alarming. Any thoughts. Anyone have the K40 with a V-1? I just have the V-1 and love it.
James,
Laser Jammers (the good quality ones) do work, but only when the laser gun is aimed around their immediate position on the vehicle. It is for this reason that larger vehicles should have at least 2 jammer units. Their use is less restricted because it is simply a wavelength of light as opposed to a radar signal which is microwave radiation.
The K40/V1 conflict you mention doesn't make sense. The K40 laser jammer is mounted either on the front license frame or hidden behind the front grill. The V1 is mounted in the windshield. Since they both face forward, I don't see how the K40 laser jammer could set off the V1.
