Yup. Bigger motor and not as much lag and usually has 2 turbos instead of 1 that is too big!!!

Hrm, the two turbos aren't really a help. Supposedly sized right a single turbo is better as there's lass wheel mass but on this car plumbing would be a serious PITA unlike the straight 6 in a Supra. Some of the Supra guys are doing compound turbos too which ought to help with lag in a BIG way. The added displacement is nice though as is the lighter feel to the car. Supra is anvil solid though you have to admit and the motors are cheap! Or were anyway. Lots of folks moving up though and it's nice to see some of that engineering coming this way

and not to mention head design, cam sizing, variable cam changes, intake design, system flow, etc
