Do you guys get 'harassed' everytime you drive your car? (and other good car stories)

Lots of people on the road just want to see the Turbo or GT2 "go", so they attempt to trigger that from you. There are also a number of drivers who want to see how their cars can do against a Turbo/GT2 even though they realize they are not going to pull on the Porsche. Then there are the trucks. Chipped turbocharged trucks are not that uncommon around here, and from a stop light to 50-70 mph they just might hang with you if you get a little lazy and don't max perform your car.

Scott that happens to me every damn time I drive my car yea my car is yellow but still .. I had these two rednecks messing with me in a huge diesel truck , they pull up to the light then and he's like taking daddys car out for a spin next light he's persisting I'm not a patient person and I'm short fused so I yank the e brake and start to get put of the car takes me while since it's so low and Im on the larger side so I throw my hands up and Im near the pasesngr window the dudes eyes were like whoa guess he expected some little kid to come out ?guess they didn't want any , ?? Lol so he's like go go while signaling with his hands to his friend .I just can't stand ignorant a holes ! No patience for them.

You make a good point, Dock. Especially regarding the trucks. Some of those trucks are making 900+ rwtq and are very quick from 0-60.
I do get people sometimes puling next to me on the freeway and then pointing forward excitedly in attempt to get me to accelerate (so they can watch). But I don't consider that aggresive.
However, the people that ride my bumper, accelerate next to me and almost swerve into my lane...they're definitely the aggressive ones.
The night I drove mine home from the shop after the transmission was done, I was in traffic and having people take pics with their cell phones... My wife was in the car behind me going "WTF?!?!?! It's JUST A CAR PEOPLE!!"

I was REALLY harassed today and became almost dangerous. I'm used to the mustangs, vettes, etc, but a Nissan Titan Red pickup hooked onto my bumper at the stop light and stayed there up to 60mph. He then tried to pass so I floored it to put some distance away from the guy. I looked in the mirror after passing 110 and he was STILL on my bumper. It was ridiculous. The road squeezed down to one lane or else he'd try to pass me at that speed. In a PICKUP!! I slowed back down to the limit when the lanes opened back up to two and let him go by. He had a wife and 2 kids in car seats as he went by. Can't believe anybody would do that in that type of car and his family. If I did that with my wife in the car, I'd be speaking in high voices from there on out!

It just happened today; a SUV kept trying to go faster than me, I was driving in the low 80s. Usually, when there is no traffic, I would blow them away... then they would never come up again. When there is traffic like today, I just let it go... there's always aggressive people on the road; I really never thought it was because I'm driving a Porsche.

I haven't been harrassed... Lots of thumbs up and people taking pictures with their cellphones while they are driving on the Freeway!! Lots of STi's and Evos charge up behind me to take a look, but no-one so far has asked me to punch it. Also plenty of attention wherever I park it..
The Car did get spit on by a Cyclist though !!!! The cyclists here in the SF Bay area are a bunch of self righteous asshats.. "Critical Mass" (a local civil disobedience group of cyclists) regularly shuts down the center of San Francisco by blocking all the main roads.. Creates major chaos. I ride my Motorcycle to work every day and so I just weave through their assinine roadblocks.. every so often, one of them tries to kick me... It's just mindboggling to me that someone else feels justified in actually assaultinng me in pursuit of their "cause".
