Mine seems to be doing something like this but immobilizes itself, car alarm goes off and car won't start. Work around is manually lock/unlock and quickly turn car on with key.

Think my keys need recoding from Porsche

Wanted to share what I found. The floor-mat slid too far up under the clutch and caused a block which disabled the starting of my car! Pulled it back and BAM!

Doesn't program the immobilizer chip so you won't be able to start the car.

The immobilizer is easily transferred to the new fob - Do you have a link to the fob and programmer?

Assumes you have an extra transponder - I thought he was asking about a new fob.
