Mike was certainly trying to help me, and I appreciated his comments. I just upgraded turbos and clutch this year. Further suspension upgrades will have to wait a while.

I thought the same thing but wanted to be nice to Jon. I turned the sound off.

BuddyG: Were you asking about my car? The interior is essentially stock, with GT3 seats and a DAS roll bar. All the carpets, etc. are still in place. I drive it on the street between events.
If you were asking about the yellow Ruf, it isn't gutted but it's pretty stiff for driving on the street.
Larry and Dez: People either like Janis Joplin or they can't stand her. The lyrics seemed to fit perfectly with what was happening on the track, though.

Going to Autobahn again on Monday and just could not resist posting this...

“I didn’t point you by because I assumed you would crash in front of me or burst into flames”…priceless.

Went to Autobahn yesterday with MVP. First time running with these guys and had a great experience. Highly recommend them. For me, best event so far this year.

Couple of pics - Anil took these...
I took these - obviously a different quality of picture - I tend to go with the blurred, crappy look.
The guy who ran the event took me for a spin in his Radical. 200hp 1000cc Kawasaki engine from a Hayabusa. Curb weight - 1000 lbs.
Godzilla
Nicest looking M3's I have ever seen
Roush Mustang
Some not so good pics of yours truely. I bought some package at the track and will post those when I get them.

CG-Lock
http://www.cg-lock.com/index.html
Still on the fence about GT3 Euro seats and harness bar because the car is still my daily driver and I often have a few kids in the back seat. Tired of repositioning myself once a lap.
Tried out this gizmo yesterday and I have to say it actually helped tremendously.
The device locks the waist belt in place. You still have to do the old trick where you move the seat back and yank the shoulder strap belt so it locks, hold it locked and then move the seat forward. Using both the CG-Lock and explained technique managed to drive all sessions without ever using my arms left foot to reposition myself. Obviously - nothing can come close to the right seat and harness - but this does work as advertised.
