What are best everyday brake pads, for non track, use EBC Yellows ?

+1 OEM Textar. Pagid for the track (yellow front, black rear). Personally, I would stay away from the Mintax inexpensive pads.

 

tx. What about the Pagid Sport for road use ?

Anyone try Hawk HPS on their turbo? I've had them on other P-Cars and have been happy with their characteristics and low dust levels...

 

+1 - I'd like to hear about Hawk HPS also if someone has tried them - I had them on my G35 and they worked better than OEM and produced no dust at all.

 

Redstuffs guys are cheap....less dust (slightly), silent, and have handled early DE level fine. Very easy on the rotors too so far.

(next pad set is yellow stuff..the ebc stuff is just way under-appreciated IMHO....)

 

Maybe as much as the Pagid RS29 Yellows are overpriced, $500 for a set, Dan any deals on a full set of RS29 front and rears ?

 

like redstuff's also, really keeps the brake dust down.

 

I have been using them on the street too...they are loud but great after they heat up.

 

Nothing really beets the factory pads for daily driving.

anyone know the tool to take the caliper off? I'm intalling rear brake pads and it looks like a giant allan key is required.
