On Saturday a few of us showed up for another Mexico run. We had Yellow 996 TT S Cab with a mix of 7 gallons of VP 109 and 3 gallons of 91/100 mix. The White GT-R with 91/100 mix, the red E94 supercharged M3 and another yellow 996 TT with the GT700 kit and 91 octane (not at 100 %).

I only ran the Yellow 996 TT and the White GT-R. They both had passengers in there car and were videotaping so we will get that video out in the next few days. These three videos were from my car (996 TT S Cab).

The only upgrades are Revo flash, VP 109 map (I created), carbonetics triple clutch w/LWFW and JIC TI exhaust. Yes, I still have the stock K24's with the stock waste gates runing 1.2 bar.

I think it's got just exhaust and tune (Revo if I remember) on K24.....It's insane how fast this car is.

that's a fast cab for sure. when you mean race tune you created, do you mean turning up the timing with lemi or something?

 

Yes, we found the problem after we got home. The right side of the turbo inlet hose popped off. Basically the car was running on one turbo.

It was great meeting everyone and a lot of fun even though we left with no trophy.

I was being passed around like meat since I do weigh over 250 lol. So hopefully by next run I will have my car set up with the new turbos

600 whp and got spanked like that by K24's????

Hard to argue driver mod in the GT-R (and the transmission in the GT-R is worth 10 mph ).

Plus you have a cab, so the weights are in the same ballpark.

 

The GTR had a 250 lbs. passenger filming, the GTR and I did some pulls as well both swapping a 180 lbs. passenger and there was at the very least a 1 car difference with the passenger, we will post those later, but there is no doubt that Robert's Cab has always done incredible regardless of the fuel he's running.

FWIW, that GT-R hit 7.1s 60-130 and 10.7 @ 134MPH on the Vbox.

I'll buy 1.5 cars or so if you take the passenger out, but that looked like more than 1.5 cars. And regardless of gas, those K24's are not running near 600 whp (530-550 maybe). Unless Robert has a new tuning solution that I've never heard of.

 

Agreed, there is another angle from the GT-R which will give us a better angle of how many cars, should have that vid up soon.
