i inquired on some turbos i bought almost two years ago the answere i got was k16hybirds>>>k16/24s not zero clearence not k24 hybirds
got the zero clearence part but can't decode the k16 hybrids k16/24 k24 hybirds part. the car has performed great fo the past two years , but i'm blind as far as what i should do for turbos??

 

so they are not k24 hybirds as it sez in my previous post . am thinking he ment to type k16 hybirds =k16/24s does that compute?? sound correct??

 

Steve - do the K16/16G's if you want the fast spool up like you have with a harder top end pull.

 

If you have K16 whatever... be it a k16/24, a k24, or even a K16/16... its all in the same HP family... boost for boost nothing is going to challenge whatever you already have...
you options are limited... a k24 can be turned into a 18g... or even a 20g... you will see the difference then... Or a Tial A28 but you will need injectors... ICs and a tune if you want some good results... otherwise your just moving turbos around thats all... been there done that trust me....

Agency Intercoolers
Agency YPipe
Agency TB
RC 60lb injectors
Softronic ECU Update

You will be very very fast.

 

You need to either work with your tuner or switch platforms all together.. but only if you do bigger turbos.... it is not required for a 18g but it does help.... just a 5 bar...

If yo do not plan on a turbo upgrade no need for injectors at all...
We have injectors for different applications... no biggie... but you need some turbos and not K16 hybrids... you already have that...

he helped me decide on these turbos at least 4 years ago and the car is pretty quick as it is all i need is just a little bit more .... just one more drink and i'll quit honest

 

The 24/18g with a 5 bar is a good combo and especially if you can run 93. The 91 tunes are good yet not as strong as a 93.
