Elliot, If you want to do it the way I did mine - using the 993 GT2 clutch parts and 993 fork, let me know. My tech that did it is located on the Cape.

What is the difference between the GT2 clutch and TT? I wasn't aware of this. Thanks!

Hi John,
I have the clutch upgraded agian, after the EPL tune by ClutchMasters...now it holds but hard to feel with TT hydraulics . Also the accumulator is failing and I suppose the slave also. So that is why I wanted to go to the GT2 set up.
Are you saying 993 TT parts will work ? and what would be the advantage?
Elliot

Elliot,

Yes, 993 parts will work, but it's pretty involved to do it that way. I don't think there is any real advantage other than a few ounces of weight savings. I did it before the GT2 conversion kits with the brackets were devised and this was the proper way to do it. The parts are less money, but the labor is more. Just do the EVO GT2 kit, you will love it. I can get you one if you would like.

the evo kit is the way to go if you are not taking out the trans. if you are then drilling out the bellhousing and tapping out the stud holes. there is casting in the bellhousing for the studs easy job with trans out.. come to think about it evo kit it an easy install.
