need help putting spoiler back on
need help putting spoiler back on
I am trying to put my spoiler back on but the piston is not locking to the spoiler. I did this before and I it was easy to put on. Do you guys think its the hydraulics going bad?
yes i do. I took my spoiler off and put it back on before. I dont know why its not locking anymore. When i let go of the spoiler tool the piston just goes back the other way.
I used the same tool to remove and install the spoiler before. turning left is to install the spoiler. If i get another spoiler wrench do you think it will solve the problem?
hundred percent agree with elegant. check out sirtools.com bought there spoiler removal tool and works like a charm and it fits perfectly.

sounds like your tool is not fully engaged in the "hole". The hydraulic piston has an outer layer that spins freely. You have to carefully spin it to align it with the inner piece before the tool grabs both and locks it. Also , the factory manual tells you to spin it only in one direction. I don't remember of the top of my head which way it is.
