Cut off at 4000 RPM....

I was ask today for help from a very dishearten member from France , Marc (996TTRTS3). In any gears at 4000 rpm the engine cut off and backfire.... His car is a 996TT 2001 with upgrade 24 K turbos, Europipe, flash unknown....

He's got new plugs...
He's got new coils
A BMC filter (oil on MAF ???)

Thanks in advance for your help. I will pass any information to him , of course after translation

Hello Alex. No code so far. I was going to ask him to record some value but which one to record, rpm, maf, bank 1 -2 lambda value, boost ????

yes and timing and knock and timing retard.

And it seems like some sort of fail safe, hence why i was asking if there was some codes.

Sounds like fail safe. Does the car still stay on with power steering, just cannot accelerate? So he has to recycle the engine?

Here's some of Durametric runs with different values recorded.... Take a look at the second one at 11:16:22 the sudden drop of RPM/MAF

This graph show a strange Maf drop at !0:09:55:46 ???? Can the MAF cause all these problems ??
