Color price depends on where you live. I think red may be more desirable on the East coast.
Couple things here, you are right drive the CS any significant amount of miles like I do
10,000 per year minimum and your car will bring alot less than the garage queens out there.
Then there is the mod factor, you don't want to do alot of mods to a CS or if you do that will effect your resale.
Believe me I would love a CS but for what I want to do and as much as I drive I think the modded tt is the way to go and incidentally the way I went!
Seems like everything thinks that AWD is a disadvantage on a track and that is just not true. It actually helps coming out of corners alot as you can help pull the car through the corner. It also helps putting all that power down on the track.
Look at the racing Audi's of yesteryear they were banned from using AWD because they were killing everyone.

speaking of racing awd cars, the current fastest Protype Le Mans P1 class car is the Audi R8. AWD and has been the fastest in class over the last 4 years at least in ALMS and at the 24 hr at Le Mans...
