Champion Perosche in Ft Lauderdale has two used GT2RSs for sale....
One black with black interior and one white with black accents and red accented interior. Makes me wonder why people are looking to sell already? Too fast? Too extreme?
What amazing looking cars. Definately not a fan of the red accents though.

I wouldn't think it has anything to do with the actual car itself... I assume people who would be buying these know the Porsche history as well as the GT2's history and imagining even past that and understanding what the GT2RS would be bringing to the table.
I would say that these cars come with such a long commitment (monetary) before receiving them that anyones situation can change over that period of time.

Sometimes people spend more than they can really afford. People get poorer. And people get divorced and have to decide what to liquidate. Who knows?
My wife asks me all the time why I need a 993 and a 996. Little does she know I'm plotting to pull her Mercedes out of the garage when I find the right 997TT S.
In the meantime, you should buy one or both of them.

I think it's also possible that the buyers got more (or less) car than they wanted. Remember, Porsche prices go up as they take things out of the car to make them lighter . Seriously though, there are plenty of people with more money than they know what to do with. For $200K+, they might have thought they were getting a high-end luxury equipped race capable car -- then realized that it was more race car than luxury for their tastes. Probably traded it in for a Mercedes SLS AMG.

The GT3 RS 4.0 starts at $185,000.
The GT2 RS starts at $245,000.
Add money from there.
You can go to porsche.com and select any location and then build a car to spec online and it will tell you the price as you go.
