I'm noticing a few of these ducts are discontinued and NLA. Are these part numbers correct? One more reason to go with RUF, although I do prefer the GT2 look

They are not discontinued generally. Just superceded to a different part number so Porsche can charge more money. Look in PET for all the supercessions.

Just call your local dealer parts counter. I've given them soooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much money lately it seems they're super helpful.

You can also just enter the numbers on Autoatlanta or Ecstuning, they will give You also the new Numbers for the superceeded ones

I need to update the version of PET I am working out of.

Odds are I am going to go with the Ruf piece though. For the money, cant beat it. You get the bumper and the ductwork for the price of the ductwork for the GT2 stuff. Not to mention that your car is my current desktop background, the Ruf piece looks outstanding, just have not seen one in person to compare with how the GT2 looks in person.

Interesting I tried to confirm PET with autoatlanta and got the same numbers. Autoatlanta gives a price for it and looks like it would let me order it, but when I put it in the online parts at Sunset or Sonnen I get discontinued.

If I find a good deal on an OEM GT2 bumper I'll bother someone at the parts counter, but until I'm ready to buy there's no need for me to call anyone... I was just pricing things out for the time being.

The ones Im showing as NLA/discontinued are:
996-505-564-30-01C Air Inlet
996-505-742-30-01C Bumper HID
996-575-321-30 Air Routing
996-575-322-30 Air Routing

Like I said above, probably just going to go with the Ruf

I've seen both the RUF and OEM GT2 bumper side by side and they look like they are both made by the same company in Germany. The material is the same PU and so are a lot of the markings. The aero on both is clearly excellent. RUF ran the Rturbo with this bumper at Nardo to a top speed of 218 mph so it's clearly good. I have one of the early RUF bumpers that was put on by RUF when they built the car and besides the bumper and 3 main ducts, all the parts including water hoses are OEM GT2 pieces.

Doing the conversion right now and facing some problems with the water tubes/ connection to the Center radiator. Ordered like recommended in the old posts water tubes 996.106.621.80(Superceded ....75) and 996.106.125.80(Superceded ...75). They are too long and the shape wouldn't be correct for me after shortening in my opinion. Wrong Parts maybe?

Your rad doesn't look flipped. Pretty sure the outlets should be on top. Unless the pic just sucks.

I do not have the water tube (the one with the white rag) on my car. That is only utilized on the TT and can be removed when you do the GT2 conversion. The GT2 water piping does not utilize that pipe as the water hoses are routed along the bottom just aft of the side radiators. The center radiator outlets need to be at the bottom. It looks like yours are. I'm not sure why people are incorrectly telling you to flip the center radiator. Yours is correct.

Steve, if done properly, there should be no line cutting. All factory unmodified GT2 hoses are used. It's plug and play. Basically all the hoses from the front inner wheel well forward are GT2 hoses. There are 6 hoses total, 3 per side. The 1st and 2nd picture below has the chimney removed. In the 1st picture you can see the hose (996.106.625.80) exiting the center radiator along the bottom. In the 2nd picture looking from the top, you can see this same water hose exiting the center radiator and bending right along the bottom behind the side radiator on the drivers side. In the 3rd picture, you can see this same hose as it goes further back and T's off to the center radiator.

I think what's happening is guys are cutting and splicing lines to connect to the exiting TT piping that runs along the side of the tub to the front behind the side radiator. I would just swap is all out to the GT2 stuff and avoid turning it into a hack job. There is no reason to do so.
