Headliner Sagging
Headliner Sagging
I was driving around 80 mph the other day with both windows down on my '03 when I noticed the headliner behind my head was sagging. I'm assuming it was from the vaccuum of having the windows down at speed. Anyone else run into this? Any tips on fixing it? I don't feel any clips or anything and think it needs to be glued back up perhaps? I don't have a sunroof. Thanks all!
Given my past experience, you will need to replace the headliner.
Typically the material used for the headliner is backed with foam and then glued to some sort of board. Basically the foam rots and the headliner falls down. Re-gluing the material won't work, because you are gluing the roted foam and it will simply fall down immediately.
Hopefully this makes sense.

Wow, really? On a Porsche? lol. Looks like a hooptie now. I'd be pretty upset if my car did that. They should replace that warranty or not so they don't have a car running around looking like an 80's oldsmobile.

My headliner kinda flaps in the wind when I drive around with the windows and roof open. I would take advantage of the services of a good repair shop to fix it, but where to go, where to go...
I have that same issue. Since it doesn't sag, I don't care as much and just don't drive with my windows open that much. If it gets bad, I will probably find some place to get it fixed.
