i just recently installed a dnx 9980 in my 01 turbo. i love it. there are so many features, its staggering. plus the fine tune-ability. you can dial in dB for the tweeters if you so pleased. a few big selling points on mine were the ipod connection, the nav interface, and being able to change the color of the buttons on the front face. i was looking at a 8120 and almost got it but i found that i couldnt change the color from blue. overall, im very impressed.

 

I just installed Kenwood DDX470 in my 2001 Turbo. It definitely improves the sound even when keeping the factory OEM speakers.

 

This is a pretty old thread, but I thought I would add a picture just incase some did a search on the Kenwood unit.
