Okeee dokeee, I read through countless threads and I think I idd most of the quick fix mods.

1. Motor mount(Torque solution)
2. Tranny mount(Torque solution)
3. Shifter(997 shifter)
4. Clutch pedal assist spring removal

Now the car really feels sooooooo much better. Anything else i can do(DYI)?

The car has 60k. It runs fine, no issues. Just trying to get a jump on small things that could go bad. Bushings, mounts, things that wear out that I should look out for.

I don't think it was at the wheels. I'm getting it serviced and dynoed next week to get some hard numbers.

Take out the poor excuse of a back seat...Suncoast sells a kit with all the plugs and covers for the seat belt slots.

Why did you decide to replace the motor mounts?

Dyno numbers are insignificant if you use different dynos. Go get some track numbers. 60-130, 1/4mile, etc. my car made 600+whp with 16/16's. So it's possible with the right supporting mods.

Good luck

The OEM kit is a waste of money at around $200 for what you get. You can make your own kit like I did and make it look a lot better. Just buy some plastic plugs at ACE hardware and paint them to match your interior. If you wanna go beyond that then remove the seatbelts and cover the seatbelt exit triangle and the plastic covers on the center tunnel with leather to match your interior that you can get at any leather shop for a few bucks. I left the seat bottoms in place since they weigh about 1/2 lb. each and make it look clean.

The stock motor mounts are way to soft and turn into mush letting the engine shift around causing both handling and shifting issues. Suncoast sells a 964RS mount that is a straight swap. The 996 tranny mounts also just take themselves apart under spririted use. The 997 mount has more of and a stiffer compound in it. You can also go a step futher with wevo semi-solid motor mounts and there a several guys on the board that are remanufacturing the tranny mounts with semi solid inserts. There is some discussions, not proven, that the wevo's make noise that triggers the knock sensors in the engine.
