Boost clarification - and hello! EVOMS GT610 / GT660

Hi guys, I am pleased to relay I recently purchased an MY03 996 GT2 with what seems to be the EVOMS GT610 kit. The only difference is mine runs an aftermarket piggyback module with adjustable boost controller.

That brings me to a need for some help. I can't get a read on what levels of boost the kit should be running.

I know stock boost is 14.3lb for an MY03 GT2 (advised via Porsche). At present on the dyno at 15lb boost with the kit it makes around 500hp at crank....not 610 hp or near it.... mixtures are good as is the tune.

My kit has a 10lb and a 15 lb boost mode. Approx 1.0 bar in other words. It also had a 1.2 Bar mode but we took that out till we learn more.

Can anyone share what boost levels the
1. GT610 kit is meant to run at for 610 HP.
2. Do you know what your stock HP was too - GT2 or TT?
3. What boost leel does the Gt660 kit run at?

Thanks
MC968CS

Aside: another Porsche toy of mine for fun---->A hot lap of mine at The Porsche Easter Bathurst event in a 1993 968CS - a very well set up car. Here I was chasing two 997 GT3's. Was pretty pleased with the car. This was my fastest lap ever, 2min 42sec. Have a laugh and enjoy.

my giac tunes have different power levels depending on the fuel run. stock file ,91 oct , and 100 oct. the advertising uses the 100 oct file to boast 650 crank hp.(thats also with the stage 2+ gmg build)
if you are at 500 crank thats basically a tune on the ecu
i believe the stock tt hp ratings were about 415 for a k16 turbo and 450 for a k24 (x50) turbo

I have a EVOMS GT610 package on my car. My car runs 1.2bar and apparently was tuned for 91 octane. I know my car made 525whp, but a previous owner had it dyno'd so I can't confirm this was at 1.2 bar. I can confirm I run 1.2bar everyday (mine's not adjustable) on 93 octane with no issues.

Later, Steve

HI,I would call EVO about getting a 93 octane file because you have power on tap since you are not running 91 octane..

Thanks for that so far. Our fuel octane systems are different down here in Australia so I run the premium grade fuel (98 octane). Best guess is it is your 93.

Seems my boost may be low, thanks, and 1.2 bar may be the target. Any differing views on the GT610 boost level?

What boost is the 660 kit running?

I have also written to Evoms as you suggest.

I'm not sure how much power I have left on the table considering the car already made 525whp and is on the stock clutch and fuel system.

Does anyone know how I can quickly tell if my kit has the k24 turbos from older days or the more current garrett setup?
