First steps and first fail

Hello everyone!
I glad I'm finally here!
So lets start!
I have 997/911tt/2007
My first step was no cats softwear and my choice was softronic
Result is bad. Stock car on drag strip 12,4 softronic best result was 12.0
I test car 100 times.
Step 2: I buy cai, fab speed carbon intake system
Result was 12.2 it's agean best time.
I was very unhappy and I put stock air filter, fabspeed intake I have in my garage ))) like softronic tune. Maybe somebody give money back for this stuff?
After thati change softwear for PP- Performance soft.
After that my car best time was 11,6
Now I want more!
So my next step: exhaust, but I don't know witch one, will se.
And some mod turbos.
I don't want do new mistakes
I need advice witch mods I need do first, exhaust or turbos?
Intercoolers from Champion Motorsport on the way to my home already
Thank you, I really want read your answers and advice

You need a good exhaust and the right parts/tune. These cars don't like tunes on the factory exhaust. Good intercoolers!

if you already have intercoolers upgraded (on the way) then you can just do a billet turbo wheel upgrade or one like vivid has which just changes out the wheels and have the softronic tune updated run 1.2-1.4 bar with some vp109 you'll be doing pretty good. The next thing is complete turbos but thats almost 5-6k vs 2-3k for the internal upgrades to the stock turbos.
I'm sure a few other will pitch in there wealth of knowledge.

bty you posted 997tt advice in the 996tt forum...lol Its okay your new

For me, exhaust is always the priority. A good exhaust will give you more power, sound amazing, and save you a lot of weight. OEM exhausts are heavy. It's just an all-around great mod. I would consider the turbos after.

BTW, the 996 forum is where it's at! There are so many more of us, and all are welcome!

First mod was FVD flash and fabspeed. Then PSS10s and SSK. Then I thought what the hell...Brought it to Chris at USP motorsports and the rest is history.

997 tt - hmm EPL or Proto ECU tune, 800cc or 1000cc injectors, catless exhaust and some hybrid turbo wheels 65mm or 68mm. it will be very fast and go 10s. will need a good clutch too.
