Need help with spring length (JRZ RS)

Hey guys.

I am currently rebuilding my JRZ RS and I am upgrading my spring rate.

I currently have 7" front and 8" rear with no tender spring.

But I am going to use tender spring on my new setup, so I need shorter springs overall. (150lb, 1.75" free length, both front and rear)

I ordered 5" front 600lb and 6" rear 800lb, but I just read something about shorter springs are more likely to coil bind. So now I am worry that 5" front and 6" rear are too short for my setup.

Should I went with 6" front 7" rear instead? Or 5" front and 6" rear will do just fine with those spring rate?

What do you guys think? Any advise would be useful

Thanks!

With tenders you want a 6" front and 7" rear spring with JRZs. With the 5/6" springs you would max out at the low end of GT2 ride height... 600F/800R are good rates for the track but very harsh on the street on anything but glass smooth. For mixed use 450F/650R to 500F/700R is better...

The car will not see much street driving, so the rate is not gonna be a problem for me.

But what do you mean by max out at low end of GT2 ride height?
Am I only able to get as high as GT2 ride height or as low as GT2 ride height?

I am not too worry about fixed ride height, coil bind and limited travel are more of my concern at this moment. Will I be running into these trouble with the spring length?

With 5 and 6" springs you will be at GT2 height at their highest setting. Travel or coil bind is not an issue with either length..

I have 400/600 and it seems fine for the street. Much stiffer than most people would call comfortable though.

I had 400/500 before and it was great for street driving.
My 500/700 feel almost the same to me on street compare to 600/800.
Either hypercoil or eibach spring would do fine.
2.25" diameter.

Updates to the topic:
I end up getting 5"/6" front and rear with eibach tender spring.
No coil bind or bottom out issue.
Runs well with Mode inc. camber plate with tarett extended drop link
However, I have to lower the spring all the way (lowest) to get gt2 ride height.
