Protomotive/IPD 996TT_3.8L Alpha28 851whp/857Ft lb

We ran the cars on the Dyno Jet this past saturday at European Auto Source(EAS) in Anaheim CA with the ShiftSector crew. My car with the Protomotive tune, 3.8L Mahle upgrade, complete push through setup and IPD's latest dimpled custom Y-Pip and TB with meth injection made the following numbers with 1/2 tank of 91 Octane, 5 gallon MS109 mix along with 100% methanol spray.

PSI 29.04
851Whp & 857Ft lb

See dyno graph attached... Oh and yes it can be done with Alpha28's!!!

Congrats! That torque must come on like crazy. Would you share the specs on the drivetrain? (RWD?, LSD, clutch, gear specs, etc)

thats 900+crank hp !very impressive but sceptical !is that proto mafless ?

Actually almost 1000 crank 15% reduction for rwhp. Whats the skepticism on the mafless tune? Works flawlessly for me for over a year now since I switched from maf.

Drivetrain, OS Giken LSD, RWD conversion, clutch master 850 Series dual disc setup.. gear spec 1-3 gear 997GT2 4-6 steel synchros 996tt gearing. 997 ssk, Evoms billet shifter link...

Wow congrats Orbell!

I'm running proto mafless and its flawless as well. I had MAF issues where it would stall out the car when revs dropped and no more after the mafless flash.

wait a minute you said a 1000 hp on a28 !!! i have seen a3076 on e85 put down 780whp at 28psi... what's the secret?

No corner cut and mix of right components. My full build thread is at the beginning of this thread, feel free to inspect.

Todd K, after seeming the dyno said I had wheel spin per the graph, so in all fairness probably be able to put down some more power if traction wasn't an issue.
