WTB: Brake rotors; Champion or similar intercoolers

Looking for rotors for my 996TT. Can be OEM and used as long as they are in good shape.

Anyone selling Champion or similar construction intercoolers?

There are a couple of threads stating they aren't that great. I would rather find OEM lightly used rotors.

You'll want the 997 GT2 RS coolers that most folks are running these days.

Let me see what Champion says and I'll get back to you. They work for a stock motor? Miles, condition? You can PM me as well.

For tracking, my pads and Sebro slotted rotors last at least twice as long.

I just ordered the Sebro slotted rotors from Pelican. Intercoolers I will most likely just do 997.2.

You will be happy with both. What pads are you planning on running and what is the intent of the car? I've tried a few different pads and am really happy with the PFCs and along with the rotors held up for my whole season last year and look to have plenty of life left for several more days at the track. Overkill for street, but they will last a long time and run pretty clean (dust). I also went with the GT2 front cooking ducts (not the smaller GT3) as my home track Laguna Seca would out too much heat into the system.

I have been running the PFC's this year and surprisingly they still have a good amount of meat left. The OEM front rotors look like they are ready to disintegrate so out they go. I primarily run Sebring and Homestead and the heat down here is quite an issue which is why I went with the GT2 ducts. It took me 1 track day to nearly cook the brakes without them and now they work fine.

I do envy where you are. I almost moved to Mill Valley a few years ago. Love that area. Looking at your setup our cars are very similar. I am running the Speedtech 2.5 exhaust. How you like the 3.0? Too loud for the street or ok? Any drone?

Agree on the heat factor- that is why I also needed the GT2 ducts and frequent brake fluid flush.

Love my Speedtech 3.0 and have had 4 other systems in the car! Laguna is throwing us all for a loop this year by dropping the sound limit to 90db. I will certainly blow that, so might install stock for this event. Sounds great on the street and would buy this one again in a heartbeat.

Have a great time out there!

I would rather buy Markski's plug and play ICs, instead of doing modifications to the car to get the 997.2 to fit.
