do a little stretching the truth here and there.... so what! These guys are
not part of this community. And they only show up when they wanna sell
us a bill of goods. " unlike the other guys we do real R & D" " We use a

are platinum ceramic alloy that keeps intake temperature below freezing."

I'm just saying, if you can make 900 hp with a28s and 800 hp with
16 billets, you and me and a lot of other guys are just plain morons
and we've just been missing the boat all together. We should all be
horsewhipped for spending tens of thousands of dollars to get to those
levels when we could have bought their alpha, beta, delta omega 1000
package .......and we don't even need to build our engines. What the
**** were we thinkin Nik?
I learned a lot from layinback and 32krazy they really know there stuff and fixed my car because of them. Great guys!

My p0175 and p0172 was caused by a leaky TB and FPR hose by TB was off the 90 degree bend rubber fitting.

Mark, you are mistaken. It was your Z fitting rubbing up against your
parabolic converters. The ion exchanger was maxed out and it's a
miracle that your warp drive engines didn't create a micro - black hole
and throw us all back to the dinosaur age.

Get your facts straight before you bring my good name into this mess

How is it physically possible to get 800 hp on a k16 turbo? The answer is
you can't.
The AMS ad shows a dyno graph with the k16 turbos at +1.8bar. Seems a bit excessive no? Doesn't the ECU shut down the throttle body for anything greater than 1.4bar?

only because k16 turbos can't push 26 lb of boost. A true k16 based turbo
dies after 1.5 bar (22 lbs) As for the stock ecu cutting things off.....that is
handled when you tune for higher boost.

An alpha 28 is choking at that level. I have dynographs of my alpha setup
and it was done at 1.65 bar (24 lbs)

And what about fuel? If you aren't running c16 or e85, you are in danger of
detonation. MS109 is rated up to 25 lbs boost (1.7 bar)

and on a stock engine......gimme a break.

Are these the same fine gentlemen who blew the cats out of my clients exhaust after running HIGH boost repeatedly/race gas on a highly built car without the owner even knowing? Then smeared me on FB, 6speed, and twitter, without even a courtesy call? Yet the owner ordered a 600hp 2.5" exhaust... and HE apologized after I refunded his money not the company... things that make you hhmmm...
"k16 billets capable of 680whp" Ill never forget that... priceless LOL

Mark, I almost got banned for calling them out on the 900 hp claim for
an alpha 28.

When I read about the 800 hp billets I thought are you guys doing this with
a straight face? When someone calls enquiring about these physic defying
k16 turbos, are you guys having to bite your lip to keep from busting out
laughing.

Whats next, a 1000 hp tune and exhaust? lol

If you accept 900hp on A28, a gap of -100hp on k16 billets seems just right to me

Its time to upgrade from gt30s to K16 billets now

Could I ask you guys what you think the max power level from GT3071r's would be (with all the supporting mods in a 3.8) max boost?

Didn't orbelo make 850 WHEEL horsepower with A28s, built 3.8L and all supporting mods?

Is that extra 0.2L of displacement the cause of the extra 200 WHEEL horsepower vs. Layinback's best A28 results?

yeah Orbell did. and no 3.8 alone will not be a big gain in power like that.

.... speaking of overpriced KoolAid

on another note. i made 650whp through a quality 2.5" exhaust without melting the cats after a few dyno pulls

massive head work, cams, and .2 liters will give 140-160ish extra power with some tuning and high boost numbers A28's could do it.

what fuel was the 850 on? was methonal involved in any way?

From memory, I think it was race gas plus meth, vs. race gas only for layinback. Not sure though.
