Drilling and taping tranmission case for GT2 hydraulics and have a question????
i tried that and my cruise control would kick off on every bump in the road. using a lighter spring from home depot i reinstalled the spring and the cruise works fine now but the pedal is very stiff (like my big rig!) so i ordered the gt2 spring and ill try that.
heres everything needed for the conversion. i was able to find a p/s setup for 300$ but you can either plug the hyd lines or remove them and tap the reservoir and pump for plugs. its your choice

GT2 Master…996 243 171 06 $65 996 423 171 06

Brake fluid cap…996 355 119 01 $5
GT2 Hose…996 423 377 90 $105
GT2 Clutch fork…997 116 086 90 $180
GT2/Tip PS reservoir (optional, you can just plug the lid)…997 314 920 50 $480
GT2 PS pump (optional, just remove the coupler from the turbo pump)…996 314 050 01 $400 996 314 050 52
btw the prices have gone up since i did this

you can plug the lines back by the trans and only remove the p/s pump enough to remove the coupler

by plugging them you don't have to drill and tap the p/s only need to remove the coupler. just easier for some. for me i removed everything lines pump and res and installed a gt2 setup
with the engine in the car its a pain to get them out. plugging them makes it easier for those trying this and they can be removed down the road if the engine ever comes out.

You can easily get a 8mm brass plug made to seal the larger line and the other smaller steel line you can just cut and weld the line or get a plug made too or tap both and plug with npt plugs.. You just need to remove the coupler on the pump.
