missfire

How do you know/tell if you have a missfire in the upper rpm range?

You'll hear and feel it for sure. I had it happen to me under strong boost, and a fresh set of plugs fixed it.

I had some misfires due to bad coils and plugs, I certainly felt it the car was cutting power repeatedly then the check engine light started flashing. Wasn't a good feeling, but it's not a hard fix if this is what is happening to you too.

Injector? You sure it's not a coil? You'd be less likely to run richif it was an injector failure. That should cause you to run lean.

Rich and misfire do not go hand and hand.

Yes and/or coils, Protomotive did some charts of my fueling and we think more likely that

Sorry, on the Durametric there is a measure of cylinder misfire and cylinder rough running, on 1 test I had one cylinder showing a misfire, another run it was a different misfire and then on the rough running cylinder measure I got values from -3.3 to as high as 6 across each cylinder... trouble is I cannot find what the measure means and what is normal for a 996 TT S

This is some of the charts from my Durametric tests

Seem to think the car wants to pull in a LOT more fuel and the system says nope, I am maxxed out baby
