OK...just a little bling.
The side vents make a huge difference in the look of the car IMO! When I put mine in, I was very very pleased.

....well, maybe in 02barebones996 case, I guess you could.....

When I first started researching the 911 turbo a year or so ago, I thought I would like to have the wood trim (my wife has a Lexus LS430 and I have a Lexus SC430, both with nice wood trim). Also at that time, I really didn't like the carbon fiber.
That's all changed now. I like the wood trim much less (not just because it's "talked down" here, 'cause I still like it on our cars) and the carbon fiber much more. Now I wouldn't mind a 911tt with CF at all, and I might even prefer it. I still don't like aluminum trim as much (except for the dials), but that's just me.
Still counting down the time to February, when my SC430 lease ends. I really had to stop looking at 911tt's for sale because I just can't get one until then (we're also finishing a house), and I'd be afraid that the perfect one would come up and I'd have to pass on it. I'm hoping that a 911tt with white or gray exterior and gray or beige interior come up then, but I'd certainly not pass on triple black (what my SC430 is), or black interior with gray exterior, if the price is right.
Plan on doing at least Stage 1, but maybe even open to further mods, possibly even up to GT640.
