Exhaust

Hey everyone. New to this forum and am ready for exhaust. bought car with giac flash and just ordered Bailey DV's and 997ssk. Just got done with my 60k service as well. How many of you guys run speedtech exhausts? I want something that sounds good but not obnoxiously loud or has a lot of drone. I know it's a little contradicting. Heard good things about speedtechs but also about some other systems. What are your takes/experiences?

Where did you get Bailey DV's? I was under the impression they went bankrupt. Their contact number in the UK does not work and website is outdated.

They did go bankrupt.. Luckily awe-tuning had four left in stock they didn't even know they had. I purchased 2 obviously but they have two left. Talk to michael Romano if your interested. Maintenance free and good dv's from my research.

Funny, I talked with Michael Romano about 6 month ago looking for a pair and he is the one that told me the company went belly up and that they no longer have any...

Told me the same thing at first and then jumped on eBay to look around for some and there it was. I told michael that awe was selling them on eBay and he had me send him the link.. He was shocked and confused. After a few hours of searching he found them. He said they were very old stock. Here is the link. http://m.ebay.com/itm/171163674341?nav=SEARCHLike I said. Last 2 left.

I used to run a RUF exhaust. Put down 590whp on 91 octane with it on Dynojet. OEM quality, full emission complaint with 100 cell cats but very pricey. Zero drone.

I've seen those but unfortunately that version of the Bailey DV30 valves will not work on our cars. Those will work on 944s where you have the room to route the line straight up. You need the version that has a 90º nipple on top. There is no room on our cars to route the line straight up like that. No way. I have had the Bailey DV30 (with the 90º nipple) on my car for the last 9 years. They are a superb product but it's a shame they are no longer made.

I talked to michael before ordering them. It's just a pic. The ones that are on their way do have the 90 degree nipple. Made sure of it before ordering. Glad to hear they work for well for you. I'm gonna check into that exhaust

SpeedTech

I've had the 2.5 X-cellerator for around 4 years now I guess, no issues, sounds good. It has done the job, I think the exhaust is a great choice if you want a nice balance, not too loud but definitely louder than stock, especially under wide open throttle. I believe their 3" version is a bit louder, if that is what you are looking for. I sometimes wish I would have gone with the 3" version, as my TT is not a daily driver, and when I drive it, that is what I'm looking for

Good luck.
