good to hear you Orbelo!you convince me to keep my a28s instead going with a3076! your dyno number are quite impressive ... have you had a chance see how she trap? or any 60-130 yet?
Fadi why selling the ski 850 kit and go for similar poweband?you already did 4.9 sec 60-130 and still on the table...are you expecting more with a28s or gt28?they flow 48 lb X2 (920 hp max)

Thanks Orbelo, your dyno sheets help a lot, seems gtx2871 will still do a lot of work.
What turbos did you end up with?
Mike the reason I am going backwards somehow is I've bought a GT-R, already bought an AMS built engine and going for GTX3076 or gtx3582 with .82 A/R setup and the other upgrades. Hopefully will get 1150+whp and have the gt-r as the highway car.
The 996tt will be used a lot on the raceway but as already have built gbox, engine, big fuel system etc would like to get turbos that can be used for raceway but still deliver some power up on top if I want to go crazy. They are pretty different machines in the end, till now can say the 996tt is more fun
As you said my setup isnt maxed out and my turbos are good for 150mph trap and low 4s 60-130 for sure with the right setup.. They arent on the shelf ski850 turbos with older technology, but billet compressor wheels, ball bearing and biggest housings and wheels making them very similar to big AR gtx3076 or even gtx3576. I want to move the power band to the left as I am not going to do any heads work, cams, etc or even build the engine to 3.8 and for the raceway they just hit so hard, even at low boost they are very pleasant on the street, if racing some serious competition on the raceway I need different and more predictable power delivery.

No 60-130 but if I had guess based on the torque and hp I would probably be in the low 5's to high 4's. I moved over to custom Tial 3082's. Dont have numbers yet but should be around 1100whp I'll post numbers as soon as I have them...

26 psi
The stock engine car at 26 psi was that on 93 octane, MS109, E85 or other ?

This is good to hear! My 5431's are a tad smaller on the inducer side than the 3076r's and I'll also be on E85. I'm Hoping to be in the 6xx whp on 1.3-1.5 bar. What RPM were you seeing the K24s come on? I do not remember any discernible 'lag' with the smaller k16s at all.

Thats correct. If I had race gas MS 109 probably in 730hp's+... for street the Ft Lb is key... however, I must say though if you don't have all the supporting mods get ready for broken parts, ( I have chewed through 2nd, 3rd stock axels etc, with the A28's)

honestly for 650 rwhp i think 3076 is overkill. with srm getting 900 out of k16/68 turbos and i have 650 with 1 bar on e85 with 3071. it doesn't seem unreasonable that you can have this level with just a billet upgrade on your k24 for less than half the cost of tials

+1 do either hybrids or do at least rods+3076, they are too big to run 1.3-1.4bar only... try 1.7bar and above and you will be amazed, also for 2+bar should do external WGs and turbos might be maxed out too.
For alpha3076 I would use them at 1.8-1.9bar where I guess their sweet spot is, otherwise go smaller turbo, with all the options today based on k16 or k24, should be easier.

If you make 650 rwhp on 1 bar on 3071 that means we could run the 3076 with low boost and E85 for 650-700... I recall that old closed thread where prodigymb showed comparative dynos on diff turbos... on E85 the 3076 ramp almost as quickly as alpha 28

I will ask about time to do rods and headstuds
