Plug Coils

Does anyone know anything about Porsche changing/improving the coils on the later model 996tt's?

this would be news to me.. the last late model I looked at had the same beru coil packs and ****ty beru FR6s.. It was an 04. Is there something different on the 05s or the Turbo S"?

My understanding is ................. yes, there has been a change for the 996tt somewhere.

My 01 had shallow cracks on 5 of 6 coils. The dealer replaced them under warranty, even though the car ran fine.

i changed my coil packs 3 months ago.... they were berus....
