Rotor minimum thickness and pads...

Hey guys I had service done on my car and was told the front brakes are at 15% and the rotors at minimum wear..

I don't track the car just blast it on the street here and there... Few questions:

1) what's minimum thickness for rotors?
2) if I'm at or close to it can I put pads only as long as it's not below?

Realize new rotors are the best but with a 1 and 4 year old and daycare right now, you know how it is . I'm fine to do rotors if needed but don't want to if I can get away with pads.

Thanks for any advice.

oem coated "ate" rotors are 75 bucks each at pelican. when in doubt. as long as they are not ridged at top of the rotor you still have enough tolerance for another set of pads. oem pads are also only 75 bucks. so if you can r&r yourself, these are very inexpensive maint items(s). just did mine frt/rear.

Quadcammer is infamous around these parts
To be clear, the 32.6 is the minmum thickness after machining.

From wear, you can go down to 32mm

I honestly think you would be fine but I personally would change rotors/pads and skimp somewhere else like mods= safety first..

Rotor minimum thickness and pads...

$300? I priced rotors and pads at $800 cheapest locally. Guess I need to check pelican.

[edit]Dang that's cheap at pelican. The brand is ATE who they specify Iran OEM supplier to Porsche is that what you bought ?

Even with shipping to the great white north it's still cheaper

Wondering if the Zimmerman's worth the extra money for the weight savings? Also, without deviating too far off topic has anyone here have any experience with Zimmerman or ATE rotors with Hawk HPS pads?

I have ran Zimmerman (use to be OEM I believe) many times in the past with good results, know nothing about ATE.
