I always wondered how mine two would do against each other. I have the same, a c5 z06 with a forged 434 dry sump, I guess on a pull like that it might be close. Dynos are really close.

 

The vette makes 480 and has ran 10.9@129. Never had the Porsche on a dyno.

Porsche has ran 150 in the half mile. Whatever that equates to.

 

Vette looks pretty fast. I had a C6 before my 996tt. I've always loved 911s and Corvettes both.

10.9@129 is very good for 480 RWHP.

 

150 in the half would roughly equate to low 120s in the 1/4. Looks like the driver of your Turbo missed a shift or shifted really slowly after the initial punch which made it look worse than it should have.

My old Z trapped 127 in the 1/4 and 155 in the half.

 

Try swapping drivers and see if its the same..

The vette has a NA 416 motor. It's just gutted with amazing suspension and a gear. As I was passing here I hit that concrete patch and came off the ground a little. Lol. I had to let off for a second.

Porsche prob makes 430ish. And weighs 500 lbs more. Plus good old na torque is hard to beat.

 

Exactly, the Turbo is at a power deficit and is heavier. A ~130mph car is a completely different animal than a ~120mph car.
