Help with top mounts

I am getting ready to have a friend install this H&R RSS coilover kit on my 03 X50 and wanted to make sure I have the correct top mounts. I heard the GT2/AWD set up has different top mounts. Also, are top mounts/top hats/camber plates interchangeable terms?
Thanks

they look correct to me since the turbo has angled mounts due to the axles

Those are JRZ 996/997TT top mounts. You will need to swap the screws into the alternate holes if you want the standard camber configuration. The mount in the second picture is set up to be used on the left side of the car in standard config once you swap the screws.

Pwdrhound, I'm not clear on what you mean regarding the second picture. It has an "R" labeled on it but if I swap the screws it can then be used on the left side? By "standard configuration" you mean no extra negative camber?
Thanks for all of the feedback, much appreciated!

These things are a bit like a Chinese puzzle. Hard to explain without confusing the issue. You can see that the monobal is not centered, it's offset to one side. As such you can flip the top mount and rotate it to get more camber. This is why you have 6 places to mount the 3 bolts, depending on if you are using the "standard" camber or the "motorsport" camber position. Also keep in mind that on these AWD plates, the monoball is angled within the mount. The monoball must be angled toward the back of the car since the AWD upright has the shock angled rearward. On the 2WD mounts it does not matter as there is no angle and you can just spin the upper 180º and swap the bolts to change configurations. Have a shop that is familiar with setting up race suspension help you as they will know how to set it up. Tell them which configuration you want. For street you want standard and for serious track duty (+3º camber) you want the Motorsport configuration. On the JRZ mounts, the difference is an addition 13mm of camber in the upper mount when you rotate it. That amounts to about an extra 1.5º over the stock set up. If you combine this with shimmable split LCAs, you can really fine tune camber and track width.

By the way, the JRZ AWD mounts are the best option on the market because the locate the monoball within the center of the plate instead of below like some of the other offerings on the market. As such, you are not taking shock travel away. If anyone needs these, let me know.

Take a look at the picture below. The top blue AWD mount in the center is the left mount. The monoball is angled toward the bottom. The bottom center blue mount is the right mount but you have to rotate it 180º. The bolts are positioned correctly in both.

Here is a better picture of the plates set up in the street configuration. You are looking at them as they would be installed in the car and you looking at them standing in front of the car. You can see the mono ***** are angled to the top of the picture (rear of the car).

That's super helpful. What are the 4 small parts and 2 large silver parts?

The 4 small bushings fit into the monoball and are the interface between the monoball and the shock shaft "seat". The two sleeves are 1.5mm thick and are used to adapt JRZ/Moton/MCS 53mm shocks into the 56mm AWD uprights. All motosport shocks are a 53mm diameter to fit into the GT3 and Cup uprights. The sleeves allow those shocks to be used in the AWD uprights in conjunction with the angled upper mounts.

I Have the same monoballs and this thread just helped me a ton thanks for the info! I do need help sourcing the 4 washers that fit inside the front top mounts. I am trying to get them to work with a set of V3's and also wonder if the Patrick Motorsport spring hats will work all around? Thanks
