Clutchmasters FX350 failing, thinking of this clutch package...

I run a 100octane tune all the time and make ~600RWHP. My mechanic couldn't say enough about how much he hated the engagement of my CM FX350 and recommended a mellower Sachs based package. Not this one specifically, but I've been shopping for a replacement and this seemed to have everything I'm looking for: lighter single-mass flywheel, stronger pressure plate and more capable clutch disc.
The ad says nothing about how much power it can handle though. Any idea if this fits the bill? I'm looking for a more stock feeling pedal that doesn't act like an on/off switch at the very top of the pedal range and something that can take a decent amount of hp/tq. I never drag race or abuse the drivetrain and only do one or two track days a year.

Sachs 764 pressure plate and GT2 disk.

Stock pedal effort and significantly better than stock engagement. It uses the stock dual mass flywheel, but with a solid clutch disk. The vague engagement point is gone, but it's as progressive as stock.

Later, Steve

+1 You will love the Sachs stuff. I have full inventory and 6speed member pricing I can help you out on if you would like to give me a call! We can even customize it to suit your specs if you like. Def should chat about the LWFW to make sure it's right for you.

That's a very good kit. It's what I run but I bought all the parts individually a few years ago, it came out a lot cheaper, about $1600 if I recall but that didn't include the clutch fork. I have 50 track hours on this set up at 600whp/670wtq with zero issues. Make sure you use the 764 pressure plate as they don't specify. They include the GT2 clutch fork which is what is what you need when you drill and tap the gearbox for the GT2 conversion as is done at the factory on the OEM set up.

So if I have no intention of doing the GT2 conversion and don't need the fork, it sounds like I should go through SamboTT. I'm going to give him a call tomorrow to discuss assembling a kit that matches my requirements, hopefully for a better price than the one quoted in the link.

Correct. You don't need the GT2 clutch fork then. Sambo will hook you up.

This is exactly what you need....

Thanks
