996TT Budget Full Bolt-On Street Build
Good, its making so much power the clutch is slipping....
You can come hand me wrenches while I change it.
Forgeline
Forgeline GA1R Wheels and BFG Rival tires arrived! Thanks a bunch to Steve at Forgeline, he was great to deal with and the wheels are a work of art. Thanks to powderhound for the offset & tire sized recommendations. Wheels are 18x12 & 18 X 9 and tires are 315/30/18 & 245/40/18. These really fill out the fender wells and have a pretty aggressive look. Here's a teaser pic until I can get some good ones in the daylight.

Thanks, Rear are 25.5 and front 25.7 The height difference is so minimal that it's not noticeable with them side by side. I chose the 245 for A couple of reasons. 1-BFG does not make a 235, 2-I wanted the extra width(grip) up front.

I'm not 100% on the proper ratios front to rear so double check before spending cash. I'm sure that if the rear were taller it would be bad for the diff up front and having the wrong ratio too far out will trigger PSM errors and traction control.
No worries, I did check before I bought them. They work well with no Psm problems. The poster S65E90 was asking why I went with this setup.
Did a boost leak test with Marksi's setup and found the throttle body o-ring was leaking and one of the vaccum lines. Installed new throttle body gasket and zip tie'd every vaccum line I could find. Put her all back together and she is air tight now. Installed the APE airbox that I scored from the classified section and spent a lot of time fitting and had to slot the mounting bracket but in the end it came out nice.
