Lightbulb Headlight modifcation

I'm not to thrilled with the styling of the headlights on the 996. I was wondering if there is anybody out there who manufactures a modified light that seperates the headlight from the turn signals with a body colored material.

If there isn't one out there wouldn't it be a great product?

I did a quick photoshop touch-up of what I mean.

I think the TechArt version does something like that. It is a cover only though.

Your car looks great. Those things look cheap IMO.

Now, if you can open up the headlights and paint the chrome pieces...

THAT would eliminate the need for "headlight covers" as you would paint the chrome under the plastic your body color.

Has anyone been able to open up the headlights?

wow, you and me think directly opposite. the 997 headlights I don't care for in the slightest bit. love the 996 headlights and despise those cheap looking techart covers. you have it all backwards man. j/k its good to see a difference in taste, makes life interesting
