2003 x50 Ecu Modification

I have been considering a ecu upgrade. I am considering either GIAC or FVD. Can someone tell me if they have used either and the results. Also considering a fabspeed exhaust. That is all I would do to car. Is it worth it. Also my boost is .7 bar. is that what other x50 owners are getting stock. What does ecu upgrade do to boost? thanks

I have a stock '03 X50 and will pull boosts of .8 and spikes of .9 in 5th gear typically. I listened to a few different exhausts this weekend and favor the Fabspeed

I just had the Remus installed and love it. Not too loud, but louder than stock when you want it to be.

The GIAC flash allows you to go back to stock at the push of a button. Can't beat that.

EP2 quiet on my tip. I was playing with a c6 z06 and went by him on a straight and he actually commented on the sound jof my e xhaust. His car screams when tacked up but I could only hear mine while we were both hittting it. Nice smooth idle slight burbling when letting off at higher rpms but sounds off quite nicely when WOT. Happy with it.
