Durametric question

Can the Durametric turn off the brake wear CEL permanently? My brake pads are fine but that light keeps coming on. I have the cable but don't see the option....if it is an option.

I do not believe it can however you can jumper out your sensors at each wheel. i have my fronts jumpered out as i was unable to find the sensors for the Brembo GT 6 pot pads in the front.

I also have a full set of new stock sensors i will give you for postage.

can tie the sensors/harness away(assuming it is functioning/unbroken) or can jumper the wires.

Chop the wires off about 2" from the connector on the back of the strut (on the wheel sensor side). strip the ends back and twist together. Tape it up, trim the loose end off the cable coming from the brake caliper so it does not flap around. This should make your light go off.

Here is the Durametric site which lists coding abilities: http://durametric.com/modelfeaturematrixv6.aspx#coding

Is there any way using Durametric (or PIWIS) or any other aftermarket scanner to see how many times Launch Control was in use on particular Porsche car ?
