GT2 Tire Sizes on stock 996 TT wheels no fender roll?
Searched a bit but didn't find an answer to this specific question. I know I will need spacers in the rear (I have 8mm, 12mm, 23mm on hand) so that's not an issue.
My question though...is it necessary to roll the fender lips front or rear to run the GT2 sizes on stock 6TT wheels? Anyone running this setup lowered and non-rolled fenders?
Thanks all

it all comes down the the demands you'll be making on the more limited space if you run the slightly wider 315/30 rear without rolling the liners. most any aggressive activity will rub for sure.
even wth fenders rolled i still have rub though, and it's inner liner rear ( with the brackets bent ) and only when bouncing thru tight off camber twists at speed. but no "outer" rub. fenders rolled.
prior to trying both 9x12 and my now preferred gt2 setup of 8.5 X 12 i ran twists with the 7x15 spacers and lowered, fenders rolled. great stance, and look, but i wanted even more plant. so the best bet is 8.5 x 12 imo.

Thanks very much for the replies guys. Much appreciated.
Right now im running 19x8.5 and 19x11 with 225-40-19 and 295-30-19 lowered with zero issues. I want to get a new set of PS2's for the stock wheels so I can run those as well. I know its not a big deal but I was hoping to not have to roll the fenders (sounds like it might be possible)..I think I will just order the GT2 sizes and give it a shot. I can try out a couple different spacers and go from there.
Thanks again guys as always

Just wanted to update the thread. Been running the GT2 tire sizes for a few months now (on Sport Techno wheels at 18x8 and 18x11). My fenders are not rolled and no issues.
The Sport Techno wheels are different offset vs the standard twists so Im running spacers on them. Effective offset in the rear is 37mm.
Couple pics for reference :

the ET40 offset on the front can be a probleem, when your car is lowered. So rolled fenders on the front are a good thing.
On the rear it isnt neccesary. Just the fenderliner on the inside can be a problem, so the 996 GT2 brackets can help out there.
The pic shows the GT2 wheel size on my car with Toyos. On the rear i got 5mm spacers.
