Help with clutch kit
Hey guys I just got a 2004 996 tt a month ago and love it however the owner before me put a used ats dual disk clutch that is chattery as hell and slips under any hard load. I need a new one and i am between two different kits.
Some upgrades including a cobb tune 68mm plenum upgrade 5bar fuel pressure regulator, intercooler upgrade, exhaust work basically sounds straight piped other stuff and allegedly a claimed 600hp true or not it is a rocket to me and faster compared to my old r1 bike.

sry if I gave too much info or shared links that i cant put in. I will also do a gt2 slave conversion. I want to make sure it will hold the power and possibly some buffer to upgrade a bit more. I do plan to track it and have fun with it. I cant tell any difference between the two honesly (besides the rivetted or bolted PP) and they seem spot on price wise. But the ecs kit has more stuff like the pulley.

Here are the parts you need for the clutch. If you want a stronger bolted PP, you can swap in the 487PP for the 764PP. The 487 is about $500 more. If you do a google search you can find great pricing on this.

I wasn't even looking at that kit since I need a new flywheel to, I figured I would upgrade to the lwfw. I almost certainly am going to pull the trigger on the motorwerks gt3/turbo lwfw kit with a gt2 slave cylinder conversion just gotta put the keys down and put it up on jacks then pull the trigger. Is there any benefit to the sachs 2.5?

all you NEED? is an oem sachs and replace/swap the "sprung" disc with an unsprung gt2 disc. all else ( at that power level and staying dmfw? ) is "hey, my clutch cost more than yours". check for material on the dmfw. you might need a new one. GL. if you "need" a new FW? and you are going to continue to tweak/upgrade "power", then sure. go with what "they" call the sachs 2.5. otherwise? ..

I found the box the previous owner had did some searching and this is what he installed in it. Based on those pictures and symptoms of the car I dont see anything being salvaged.
I assume I need everything replaced I also like the idea of a lwfw over dual mass and its really not that much more then a 2.5 it seems so why not.
