Well I ordered the RS mount kit from the link above. Not a big URO parts fan but thought I would try them out since they are reasonable priced and it isn't really a high complexity part.

Got the RS (uro) mounts put in today. Easy job and goes quickly. I am happy with the results for $216. If I would have went with the Porsche part it would have been $700. Is the difference earth shattering..no. could I tell if the change if someone put them in my car and didn't tell me..maybe. The car feels more composed/ solid over bumps, in corners, and when accelerating. I did not notice any additional NVH over my stage 2.5 clutch and window weld transmission mount. I'm happy with the change for the money I spent. To note my original mounts did not appear to have sagged based on the tips before and after and they seemed solid. I was surprised.

Wow, the Porsche solid mounts have gotten outrageous $699. I think i payed $2-300 3 years ago. I would have done what you did also at those prices. Apparently the P-Tax rates are going up.

I got the RSS mounts and a 997 Transmount and found the exact same result.

Amazing difference in every manner of the car. It was truly worth the ~700 in parts to do it all. Borrowed some time on my friend's lift and got them installed in about 3 hours for everything.

Personally, I found the RS mounts too expensive, and the writeups on the less expensive ones to be inconsistent. The middle ground I'm going for are the FVD pieces. They appear to be OEM quality, with RS-equivalent bushings, at half the price of the RS units.

I have not installed these yet, so I can't say anything for certain.

Replaced my worn stock mounts with a set of Torque Solution a couple of years ago when I had the engine out. Also filled the voids in the transmission mount with window weld as well as swapping the stock shifter for a 997 short shift. Changed the feeling of the car all together. Really made a difference when I ditched the stock clutch slave setup for a BBI. Car is now a dream to drive.
