Has anybody swapped to larger six piston OEM calipers with the Brembo 380mm front rotors?

I was thinking about upgrading to a stronger caliper on the front, o have the 4 piston brembo s with the brembo 380mm rotors now.

I heard the 997 gt3 calipers may fit? Are those the same as the 991 calipers?

Any info is appreciated.

Should be some good threads on this, did you see this one, search is your friend? I'm sure there are others, Pwdrhound has been tracking his car for years, and probably one of the better resources period for these cars, as I believe he still posts on occasion. I stopped at 350mm, as I have no plans to track the car.

Thanks guys, I found a lot of good threads. Thank you.

my big concern was the right offset of these 380 mm brembo rotors I have.

Assuming they are standard offset looks like I need front calipers of a 997.2 GT3 or a 991 GT3.

Are there adaptors for 130mm to 225mm calipers?

I measured my caliper bolt spacing at 130mm, I thought they would be 146mm. Wierd

If go up to the 380MM you are pretty much locked into 19 inch rims. I went with the 350MM upgrade and really like them. All Porsche parts.

I run 7.2GT3 380mm brakes with 18" wheels... Only a handful of 18 will fit 380 brakes... I see no point of doing 380s on a street car..

350mm upgrade
I wanted to upgrade to slotted 350mm rotors. My stock drilled rotors got pretty ugly after the last track outing at watkins glen. I ordered the bushings and bolts from the guy on ebay a couple weeks ago. I sent a few messages and have not heard back. I more track days the following weekend so I only have a week and a half to sort it out. Does anyone have info on making your own spacers and what bolts to source. I have a CNC router that I can cut aluminum on. I would like a back up plan in the event I do not get the parts I ordered.
thanks
Todd
