Tire help

I was wondering if I could switch Yokohama AVS sports from left to right and vise-versa by switching wheels. The camber on the Turbo has all but killed the tread on the inside of my rear tires and I was wondering I could switch sides since the outsides have plenty. I think it should be fine but I want to make sure.

thanks

well, putting wheels on different sides isn't going to change what's inside
or out... You can certainly have your tires removed and remounted the
other way so the worn stuff is on the outside, but if it's anywhere near
the cords the tires are junk.

I'm talking about removing the tire from the wheel and re-mounting it on the wheel for the opposite side. I know the tires are directional but they are still rolling in the same direction and should be ok correct? I'm just not sure if one side of the tire is designed to be the inside and the other the outside. If not then in theory you could mount them on the other wheel and since they are rolling in the same direction should be fine. I don't want to do anything that could cause an accident for obvious reasons. Not to mention a kid wrecking a Porsche would just make me and my family look like a bunch of idiots.

exactly. As you describe it, and if there's detectable tread still left on
the worn side, go for it.

ebaker is infamous around these parts
By the time you pay for mounting and balancing and consider the risk of scratching the wheels it doesn't seem worth it.

If the car alignment is close to the track camber setting in the back and car used mostly for the street, then you will get this exaggerated wear faster. Maybe have the rear camber set more for just street use and it will let the rear tires wear a little more evenly
