Sachs Cracked Pressure Plate

Doing a clutch job for what I thought was a worn out SRE 2.5 / 764 pressure plate clutch. Only 35k street miles, never tracked or drag raced. Granted I'm tuned making about 550 HP, but that's not outside of what this clutch is rated to handle. I don't do clutch drops and never overheated the clutch.

Very surprised to find what the issue was is a cracked PP. Lots of friction material left. Disappointing as clutch jobs on this car are no fun to say the least.

All bolts showed to be evenly torqued. Release bearing smooth as butter. No signs of serious heat or leaks.

Never come across this before and I doubt Sachs will do anything to remedy this? I have a new 764 PP and friction disc to drop in. I only use high quality name brand parts and to avoid this type of thing.

Thoughts?
