Question wheel choices

The recent discussion about wheel choices has been confusing . I have always thought the hre 543R's were really nice. I also saw the recent pics of the Kinesis F110s. They, look very similar to the 843R's sans the mark up. Now the question is this. Kinesis is a 1 piece wheel while the hre is a 3 piece. Some have mentioned that the hre wheels crack, which is not a feature I want in a wheel. Does anyone have any thoughts on the durability of each wheel? price difference? I will be getting 19" wheels and using continental tires. I wanted to run a pole with these two as a choice and get the opinion of others who've owned these wheels and/or tires. My goals are mainly to enhance the look of the car and I'm keeping the stock twists which will be used for any track time which will likely be minimal.
What do you guys think??

thanks,

Geoff

hre don't crack ^_^
it's damn strong.... i've been driven it for a year now...
drove at 187m/h b4... drove on ****ty road with lots of holes b4...
but never had a problem other than a scratch from a parallel park that i've done...hahaha
go with hre, u won't regret... and it's cheaper to fix as well....
if you scratch it, change a new outer rim...

unlike 1 piece wheel, if you damage it, u might end up buying a new rim....

If you are looking for a light performance wheel go with Fiske.

Buy my HRE 542R's.... Price is right... in for sale section....

I know many people with HRE's and they have never had any issues with cracking and they drive hard...

Chad is right. I'm a performance-only guy, so looks aren't
a strong issue, but for world class performance wheels,
Fikse is unarguable.

Thumbs up Fikse

Fikse would be my first choice were I to be changing wheels. They are enthusiasts and really like the work they are doing and it shows in the product and after sales service. Plus the product itself IS light and strong. I had Fikse's on my previous car and recieved constant comments on the quality. Call them and you can speak directly to Jim Fikse.

Just my $.02.....
