Club Sport Cage Installed

Just had the Club Sport Cage installed. Final weight with 3/4 tank of fuel - 3047lbs. Urg! still 48 lbs to go and I am running out of ideas!

Very happy with the cage, really stiffens up the car.

Looks great , but from the views of the stripped interior the last 48 pounds will be very challenging. BTW, the aftermarket billet pedals probably added at least 8oz!! Good luck, Kevin

weight reduction

How about the remaining carpeting on driver/passenger side since it looks like you took out all the rear carpeting ....and the doors next !!!

Looks good. You can save some weight by swapping out the leather seats with the cloth GT3 seats. I believe it's something like 16lbs less for the two seats.

werd with the seat change...if you have the money( ) then go for some carbon fibre molded seats from sparco or whomever you want...they will save you another 20 lbs or more from the seats you are using now.

Fabryce,

My exhaust only weighs 21lbs. How much lighter can it be?
