Tire question...

Can someone please post a pic of a 19" wheel with a 295/30/19 tire. I am looking for a comparison with the 315/25. I think I need a little more sidewall. Thanks in advance

sidewall is good. i don't recommend the 315/25/19 tire. first of all, tires are a pain to get unless you get Contis (which I hate), and I don't think you'll like the ride or performance too much.

You think the taller, almost an 1", extra sidewall will adversely effect the car's performance?

definitely. there are 2 ways to find out for sure.

1. test drive someone's car with the 315/25 setup.

2. trial and error on your own car.

personally, i think you will easily see the difference.

Both are compromises when it comes to performance... the 295's will slow down your rate of acceleration due to taller gearing from the increased sidewall, and the 315/25: that is as close to no sidewall as you'll see for the street... much has been discussed about this already on its negatives. So, it basically comes down to this: Choose your poison.

Harry, Have you considered running GT2 18" specs on the car?

Jas, on the coupe I did but the cab is more for crusing and thus the bling of 19's work well. Just this 25 series is super low and alot more than I expected.
